Combat Arena   |   Turku

Combat Arena is the 1,000 m² martial arts hall of the Turun Ju-Jutsuseura (TJJS), and a Tähtiseura recognized by the Finnish Olympic Committee, national federations, and regional sports organizations.

At our facility, you can train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Defendo, Hokutoryu Ju-Jutsu, Kenjutsu, and Kickboxing. Combat Arena is dedicated to high-quality coaching and a friendly training atmosphere for both adults and juniors.

You can pay training fees also with the City of Turku’s Boosti benefit.

Beginner Courses for Adults

Just show up and join in! The beginner course fee is 130 € for 3 months. Students, unemployed persons, pensioners and goverment officals are eligible for a discounted rate of 110 € for 3 months.

Defendo Beginner Course starts on 31 August at 18:00.
Training sessions: Mon 18:00–19:30 and Wed 18:30–20:00.

Brazilian Ju-jutsu (BJJ) and Submission Wrestling Beginner Course starts on 7 September 2026 at 19:30.
Training sessions: Mon 19:30–21:00 and Thu 20:30–22:00.

Kickboxing Beginner Course starts on 8 September at 18:00.
Training sessions: Tue 18:00–19:30 and Thu 17:30–19:00.

Hokutoryu Ju-Jutsu Beginner Course starts on 9 September at 17:00.
Training sessions: Mon 19:30–21:00 and Wed 17:00–18:30.
