What is Kamppailuareena?
Kamppailuareena – Combat Arena is a 1000 m² combat sports facility operated by Turun Ju-jutsuseura (TJJS), and a certified “Tähtiseura” club recognized by the Finnish Olympic Committee, sport federations, and regional organizations.
With us, you can train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Defendo, Hokutoryu Ju-Jutsu, Kenjutsu, and Kickboxing. We offer high-quality coaching and a friendly training atmosphere for both adults and juniors.

Who are the classes suitable for?
The classes are suitable for everyone. In the beginner courses, fitness is gradually improved and training starts from the basics. You don’t need any prior experience to begin. Everyone trains at their own pace.
Most of our members train just for fun, but we also have competition teams. We have achieved great success both nationally and internationally.

How can I join the courses?
You start by attending a beginner course in your chosen class. If you want to continue after the course, you can become a club member by paying the membership fee and then continue training in advanced groups.
After the beginner course, a training fee is required. With a valid training fee, you can also participate in beginner courses of other disciplines. This means you can train multiple sports at the same time or focus on just one.

When do the beginner courses start?
Beginner courses are organized three times a year. They usually start in January, March, and September. We announce the start dates for the beginner courses on our website. Check out our upcoming beginner courses here: Beginner courses

What if I already have experience and have completed a beginner course elsewhere?
If you have completed a beginner course elsewhere, you are welcome to join our training sessions. Your first visit is free as a trial session, after which you can arrange your payments.

Do I need to know Finnish?
Classes are held in Finnish, but all our coaches also speak English. We have many practioners whose native language is other than Finnish.

How do I pay the fees?
First, create a member account here: User account

You will receive a training card from the office upon presenting your receipt.

When is the office open?
Mon 16:15–17:45
Wed 17:30–18:30
Thu 17:00–20:30
Fri 17:00–18:00

How do I use the Boosti benefit?
First, create a member account here: User account
Request a reference number from our office for the Boosti payment.
Once everything is set up, select Turun Ju-jutsuseura and the correct training group in the Boosti system.
Pay using the reference number.
You will receive a training card from the office upon presenting your receipt.
